Sister Paige Hardy

Monday - so pday. Normal. Then afterwards we had an appointment with an irmã who gives these fancy foot massages that are supposed to really help with a variety of health problems. There is a sister in another area who has been really struggling sleeping so we did a division and I went with her to meet this irmã. She was so excited, she has truly been suffering. She is visibly exhausted. We get there and knock and knock and call and call and she isn't there. This sister was a good sport and suggested we go do contacts or something, but I could see how disappointed she was. She is a super great missionary. She has either trained or been an STL literally her whole mission and she works super hard, but she was dying. So I forced her to go back with me to our house and we did a relaxation exercise and then covered her up with basically all the blankets in our house and we slept. Tuesday - today we had district counsil! Last one for this transfer! What!? This morning Sister Allred and I decided to make lunch for the district. We couldn't decide what to make though so we just made two things! I made a vegetarian stroganoff and she made chicken alfredo. Both super yummy. (I have discovered myself eating less and less meat while here on my mission. It just isn't as appetizing anymore. Someone asked me if I was vegetarian and I told them I was only "part-time" lol) It was a good council for us sisters too. We had been asked to give a training so we did one on how to begin teaching and it went super well for us having been asked the night before. Then President had challenged all the duplas to come up with an idea of how to use a part of the dedicatory prayer of the temple when we teach members. I don't have a lot of time today, we had an awesome pday! So this email might be a bit shorter! Sorry!   Tuesday - we had district counsil of course and then we did our studies. We had an appointment but she canceled so we decided to finish up the last session of general conference! It was so so so good! I loved President Nelson's talk! I now have a goal to memorise the full version of the first vision. I have the missionary part done, just need to do the rest! Then we spent the rest of the day finding. It was one of those days where you knock a ton of doors and they aren't there or don't want anything and you contact people and they ignore you. But we did our part!   Wednesday - We did Divisions in Gaia! We went over there and we got off at the wrong metro stop without knowing and they "weren't there yet" so we bought some cool jewelry from one of those pop up places in tourist spots and took some pics, then they called us and asked wher...

Tuesday - - highlights of today. We taught an AWESOME lesson! It was so cool! She is a reference from some members in another ward. We had an appointment and stopped by and she was there and ready and happy to see us! We had a wonderful lesson with her. After [we taught] the First Vision I asked if she believed something like that could have happened and she said "yes! I believe that 100%!" and later when I asked her "if you knew the true church of Christ was on the earth, would you go?" and she said "what is the address of your church?" best answer ever! She is awesome and I am so grateful to get the chance to know her. That night we ate with a member, and it was great! I LOVE eating with members! Tuesday - today we had district council which was fun and afterward we made invites for General Conference, we gave out a ton! We offered a woman one and she refused us, so we left, and then a couple minutes later I started crying about something completely unrelated and we went to sit down close to where the woman was and she must have felt bad for me because she came over and asked for one of our invitations lol. We did some visits, ya know normal missionary stuff and then we had dinner with Bishop! It was really great! They have a wonderful family. Then we went home.
