Happy New Year!!! The library is closed again today so we are emailing over phone again, so no pictures, but I promise I'll spam you next week with pictures! CHRISTMAS WAS SO FUN! The highlight of the day BY FAR though was talking to all of you! It was so great to see all of your smiling faces! I did not do a very good job of eating healthy this week, but our new years resolution as a companionship is to eat healthy. We started Saturday night sitting on the kitchen floor with a plate of asparagus and a pomegranite... not sure if that is so much better for your body than candy, but we tried! We gave two plates of cookies to our neighbors because every single member we visited for nearly two weeks gave us a plate of cookies, one family put HALF a COSTCO CAKE in a Tupperware for us... so we ...

Olá! It's Christmas (eve)!!!!   I am so excited to Skype and talk to you all tomorrow! We will be calling around noon my time, I'm not actually 100% sure what the time change is. The family we are skyping from has two computers, so I might not call until 12:45 or so my time. I don't know what my Skype name is either, sorry. Oh and please have some questions if you can! Olá minha familia!   This week was truly a week of miracles! It might be kind of a long email, desculpe! We had a baptism on Saturday! Dwight has such incredible faith and it was so touching to see the light in his eyes the next Sunday at church and how wonderful he felt to have been baptized! He had been putting off telling his wife forever, but finally he wrote a beautiful touching letter to her telling her he was being baptized and why and inviting her and she came! It was a miracle! I know it meant so much to him to have her there. She is so sweet too! His two sisters and their fiances came too and his son and daughter in law who had told him they couldn't come! We were all grateful for his family support. It was a beautiful baptism, I feel so honored to have been able to be a part of his journey! He is going to be an amazing and faithful saint, I am so happy for him! (He is going to teach us some martial arts stuff later today too and I am so pumped!) Two othe...

Olá minha familia! I am so sorry for the craziness that was my last email, I'll try to make this one more normal, no promises though! Sorry if I scared you at all! I was trying to be silly! I really do feel very safe here! My companions are awesome! My trainer is so wonderful and my other companion is so sweet! I feel more like I have two wonderful examples than two trainers! We have a lot of fun. We have been blessed in the weather recently! It has yet to really snow, and yesterday is was almost in the 50's! I am excited for it to snow, but right now I am grateful for the relative warmth and sunshine! We meet way more people on the streets than we would if the snow was feet deep! Yesterday we went to the cute little downtown area to do some contacting, it was a warm and beautiful day, but for some reason hardly any people were out and about! We met a really nice young man though with his cute dog and talked to him for a bit, he wasn't interested in the gospel...
