OLÁÁÁÁÁÁÁÁÁÁÁÁÁ!!!!!!!! TUDO BEM! I have now been in Portugal for a full week and a few days and it just gets better and better. I am starting to get used to the fact that I LIVE in EUROPE and I have started to be able to catch bits and pieces of what the people around me are saying which helps me not feel lonely. I don´t ever want to leave this beautiful place! Today we bought Portuguese bread and pastries for breakfast which were delicious and ate at this diner right next to a georgeous park for lunch! It was so fun! The food here is really fun. Some of it is going to take some getting used to, and it can be a little scary when you are at a members house and they are all like "eat all of it!" and I´m like "ahhh ok Ill try!" but for the most part it is really really good! Funny story though. Fun fact: I don´t like fish. First day my trainer says "we are going to eat at this members house, but don´t worry, they have never served us fish before." ...

I MADE IT!!! Portugal is AWESOME! I am serving in a town across the river from Lisbon called Barreiro. It is really old and so cool! Everyone keeps telling me its the ugliest place in Portugal, but I love it!! My trainer is Sister Hoffman, and she is awesome! She has been here for almost a year and her Portuguese is amazing! Mine Portuguese is not so amazing, but I have to keep reminding myself I have only been here for four days... We try to speak in Portuguese as much as possible, and I have been learning pretty fast. I have found the easiest is bearing my testimony, sister Hoffman says that because there is so little I can say, when I do talk the spirit is able to talk A LOT. I have found that to be true. We are teaching a man named Tito and his wife, and they are awesome! We met him on my first day just walking down the street. We talked to him about the book of Mormon and he was so excited when we gave him one of his own! He grew up in Angola and apparently when he was y...

A Minute in Michigan

Olá!!!! Como vocês estão!       Here marks my last day in America for 14 months. (I hit my 4 month mark yesterday). It was a crazy final week! So many miracles! Ok first. We got a referral for this girl from Cambodia this week during interviews (we were stick inside the church ALL day, but we were still able to get some work done thanks to technology!) We called and she was so solid! We met with her and found out she is only 16 years old! She was basically a member back in Cambodia, going to church and seminary and loves young women's! One of the first things she asked us about was when seminary was! She already knows so much of the doctrine, we hardly had to teach anything, it was basically review! She is the cutest ever and so mature! She really wants to make the right decision and said she won't get baptized until she is sure it is all true. Though, like most of us her testimony is already stronger than she realizes. But she was a definite miracle! Another ...

I'm getting transferred again. TO PORTUGAL!!!!🇵🇹🇵🇹😄😄 Last Monday I got an email from the mission   President in Portugal to a bunch of people (written in Portuguese) that said they were excited for our arrival.... I was pretty confused so we texted sister Cleveland and she hadnt heard anything, but the next day she texted saying she'd emailed me my flight plans! Crazy! I leave next Monday evening. (I am pretty sure I'll be able to call, mom! I still need to get permissions, but I should be able to call around 5 your time. I will let you know for sure nest monday) I am super excited, but also sad. I have really come to love Michigan, and I have met so many wonderful people and worked with great companions. I am also pretty scared about speaking another language. I just have to remember that it's ok to make mistakes, that is how I will learn. I know the Lord has a greater plan for me than what I can see right now, I trust Him! Last P-day we went down t...
