Mudança é bom

Olá gente! Tudo tranquilo por aí? This week was really different than any other week I have had on my mission....
We moved house. The house we were living in was nice, just very small and cramped, and the water was brown. So when Presidente came up for zone conference he told us we were going to move to the old house of the Elders. (there used to be Elders in Porto, but now there aren't and the house is empty) The new house is bigger and nicer so we were super excited to move! We didn't find out for sure though until Monday afternoon and they wanted to move us on Wednesday. And they are giving the house back to the owners, so we needed to empty it out completely of years and years of missionaries junk and clean it top to bottom. So Tuesday was a weird day where we were doing all we could to balance missionary work and pack! By Wednesday we were basically packed, but the house was not clean. So when the missionary couple showed up we spent a couple hours cleaning out the house and lugging our stuff to the van that was parked not that close by. Finally, the house was basically empty, but definitely not clean, but it was getting late. So we took all our stuff to the new house and started to unpack. We were going to have to just go back later in the week and really clean the old house.

The next day we were exhausted! We had spent all day carrying and dragging trash to the dumpster and our stuff to the van and then when we were finally in our house, for some reason I decided it was a good idea to disassemble one of the bunk beds and move it to another room and reassemble it almost by myself... Turned out good, and makes more sense spacially in the other room, but it was tiring.... So the next day was another day of trying to balance missionary work and get settled into our new house all while trying to keep ourselves awake....

Then on Thursday, we spent a good 3 hours deep cleaning the old house until it was spotless! It was a crazy couple of days! Now I think we are basically moved in. Whew.

But even with all the craziness we still saw so many miracles! We had a friend who had a date to be baptized, but she disappeared for a while until this week she sent us a message inviting us to come and visit! It was great! She won't be baptized on the date we had planned, but we are just so grateful to be talking to her again! And she even came to church on Sunday!

Our miracle, D, is still progressing super well! He got sick and couldn't come to church this week but he is still super excited for his baptism! I love him, he is so cool! We had another cool friend come to church, he left early but we were still able to make a next visit with him! Then Saturday we had decided we really needed to save out some time to do some finding. We planned in an hour and a half, but then appointments ran long and such and we ended up with only 20 minutes! So we go to a place to do contacts and there is almost no one there, so we start leaving when I feel like we should actually head back. These two guys are walking towards us but when they see us they turn around.. But I was like "oh nos you don't!  You're not getting away from me!" so I go up and contact them and it was one of the best contacts I have ever done!  We taught them about the book of Mormon and marked a next visit! It was so cool! 20 minutes and two new friends!

Today we decided to go get our nails done by one of our friends! She does them really great! But I am really struggling typing this because I am not used to them yet! They are not super pong, I have had them this length just growing them myself, but I think because 2 hours ago they were super short I am just not used to it! Lol!

Anyway, I love you all! I know that this gospel is the true gospel! The more I study, the more I pray, the more sure I get. I love my Savior, I am so grateful for Him. Please, please, if you are not doing those small things to strengthen your testimony (church, pray, read) do it! When your testimony isn't growing its dying!

OK bye! Have a great week!! Beijos!
